At Vintage & Nostalgic, every item we sell is individually sourced, pre-loved and often decades old. We take great care to describe each piece accurately and provide clear photographs so you know exactly what you’re buying.
Because of the unique nature of vintage items, our returns policy works a little differently from shops selling new goods. Please read the details below.
Returns & Refunds
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery if the item is significantly not as described — for example, undisclosed damage or major inaccuracies in the listing.
To start a return, please contact us here with your order number and details of the issue. We’ll review the details and arrange the next steps.
Change-of-Mind Returns
As a small business selling one-off vintage items, we’re unable to offer refunds for change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or if the item is the wrong size/colour/style. We encourage customers to read descriptions carefully and check measurements before purchasing.
Condition of Vintage Items
All items are sold as vintage, meaning signs of age, wear and patina are normal and part of their character. These will always be shown in the pictures or mentioned in the listing. Such age-related wear does not qualify as a fault.
Return Shipping
If a return is approved, the buyer is responsible for return postage costs and must use a tracked service. Items must be returned in the same condition they were received.
Refunds are issued once the item has been safely returned and inspected.
Damaged in Transit
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos of the packaging and item. We’ll work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
