A genuine 1988 Robertson’s Lifeboatman Golly badge, issued as a special fundraising item in support of the RNLI. Complete with its original presentation box, this enamel badge was part of a limited run of 19,945 pieces, produced specifically to raise money for the lifeboat service.
Made by Fattorini, this was one of the higher‑quality special issues of the late 1980s. Two sizes of the Fattorini backstamp were used on this design — this example features the large backstamp, the scarcer and more desirable of the two.
