Description
An early Hornsea Pottery Fauna vase featuring two rabbits beside a leafy tree trunk. One rabbit rests at the entrance to a hollow in the trunk, while the other sits upright beneath an arching leafy branch.
Soft green foliage blends into cream and brown bark-effect glazing, with moulded knots and grooves adding texture. The rabbits have subtle brown shading, contrasting with the green woodland base.
The broad, cream-lined opening follows the uneven shape of the trunk, offering space for a small arrangement of dried stems. Display it on a shelf or sideboard where both rabbit figures can be seen.
