Description

Bring golden-green colour to a small planter or shady garden corner with our home-grown Golden Baby’s Tears plant (Soleirolia soleirolii ‘Aurea’). Also known as golden Mind-Your-Own-Business, this low-growing, spreading variety has tiny rounded leaves that form a soft carpet of foliage.

Golden foliage for indoor displays and shady borders

Its compact leaves and trailing growth make Golden Baby’s Tears a lovely choice for terrariums, indoor plant displays and decorative containers. Outdoors, use it in sheltered, shaded borders or around pond edges, planted in the surrounding soil rather than in the water. Allow space for it to spread and trim back as needed.

A living finishing touch for vintage planters

Plants might be an unexpected find in a vintage shop, but this is one we grow ourselves to complement the pottery we love. The fine golden-green foliage pairs beautifully with small ceramic planters, including our Hornsea Pottery Fauna range, adding a soft contrast to woodland figures and textured log designs. Decorative planters are sold separately.
