Description
A Hornsea Pottery Fauna vase featuring a white rabbit standing at the doorway of a woodland tree trunk. Above the rabbit, a moulded yellow window and blue shutter add a storybook detail to the bark-effect design.
Warm brown glazing highlights the trunk’s grooves and knots, contrasting with the rabbit’s white body and grey-shaded ears. The cream-lined opening has an irregular rim shaped to resemble the top of a hollow tree.
Measuring approximately 12.5cm high, this slender vase offers space for a few dried stems or makes a distinctive display piece alongside other Hornsea woodland pottery.
The underside bears the impressed model number 570 and a green Hornsea Pottery “Made in England” backstamp.
