Early Hornsea Pottery squirrel log planter featuring a hollow log with textured bark, soft blue‑wash glaze and a finely modelled squirrel emerging from the front. This piece carries only the impressed HORNSEA mark with no printed base stamp, placing it firmly in the mid‑1950s transitional to Fauna period before the Fauna / Fauna Royal printed marks became standard. At 12.5cm, it’s a compact, charming woodland planter vase with strong vintage appeal.
