Description
A Hornsea Pottery Fauna planter featuring a resting fawn beneath an arching woodland branch. The golden-brown fawn has a cream chest and white-spotted back, framed by moulded leaves in shades of light and deep green.
Textured brown bark and pale yellow cut-log details complete the woodland design. The cream-lined planting opening follows the irregular shape of the hollow trunk, making the piece suitable for a small dried-flower arrangement or display on its own.
The underside bears faint impressed “Hornsea England” lettering and the model number 57. A distinctive addition to a collection of Hornsea animal pottery, with the open arch keeping the fawn at the centre of the design.
