Description
A Hornsea Pottery Fauna Royal 1962 vase featuring an upright golden-brown rabbit beside a hollow tree trunk. The rabbit’s cream muzzle and chest complement the softly shaded brown bark, while green leaves and clusters of pink-red flowers add colour around the trunk.
The cream-lined vase opening has an irregular rim that follows the naturalistic tree shape. Measuring approximately 9cm high, this compact piece offers space for a few small stems or a dried-flower display, and sits neatly alongside other Hornsea woodland ceramics.
Model No. 13, as supplied. The underside bears a printed Hornsea Pottery Fauna Royal backstamp with “England” lettering.
