Description

This large Paul Cardew Design country kitchen stove teapot recreates an old-fashioned cast-iron-style cooker in miniature. Standing approximately 26cm high, it has a dark speckled finish, cream-coloured cookware and a tall raised stove section.

The sculpted details include a hob plate, a row of front controls and an oven door shown ajar. Three miniature lidded cooking vessels sit on the stovetop, their pale finish contrasting with the dark stove body. A curved spout and loop handle complete the teapot shape.

Set it on a kitchen dresser or in a collector's cabinet to bring a little country-kitchen character to a display of novelty teapots.
