The poem on the side

I spend my spare hours
Growing crops, shrubs & flowers
My tomatoes are unmatched for flavour
Whilst tending the land
With spade in my hand
I gather the fruits of my labour
I grow carrots & swedes
Sow cuttings & seeds
The scent of my roses just lingers
With love & great care
I tend all that is there
Thank God for the land-
And green fingers!
