Description
A set of three vintage ceramic swan planters with curved necks, shaped wings and soft green shading over a cream ground. Colourful floral sprays, including pink roses, decorate their sides, making an eye-catching group for a shelf, sideboard or windowsill.
The first photograph shows the swans planted with baby’s tears for display inspiration. Plants are not included with the planters, but are available separately in our Baby’s Tears (Soleirolia soleirolii) collection.
Believed to date from the mid-20th century, although the exact age is unconfirmed. The photographed bases bear a Union Jack and a “Made in England” mark; the maker is unidentified.

Condition: Vintage condition with damage to the undersides, shown in the two close-up last photographs: a small chip or area of glaze loss exposing the ceramic body on one base, and branching hairline cracks across a base. Please examine these photographs carefully, as they form part of the description. Watertightness has been tested; best used for decorative display or with a separate watertight liner or pot rather than planted directly.
